Today I wanted to talk to you about something that is so common. It’s something that many of my clients struggle with, and I even struggle with it too!

It’s dealing with that “stuck” feeling in your life.

We can honestly be paralyzed with it! Some of my clients are stopping themselves from the thing they know are going to get them to the next level. And when I deal with this “stuck” feeling, I know what I need to do, but I just can’t get there!

You know you need to break the cycle, but those feelings of regret, resentment, and self-doubt get in the way. So, to help you get rid of that “stuck” feeling, here are 3 easy actions you can take to help you move forward!

1. Using the 3-Day Rule

If you are wondering how to break the cycle, my best piece of advice is to follow my 3-day rule.

Any decision you make has the ability to affect you for three days. Think about the decisions that you are making right now for your hydration, nutrition, and sleep. Then, answer this question: How bad do you want to achieve your goals?

In order to keep your body at optimum performance, you need to focus on those three key factors. This is why setting an evening routine is also crucial to achieving your goals. When your sleep schedules are off, it is definitely noticeable in your everyday life!

2. Think About Your “Why”

If you want to get rid of that “stuck” feeling, you need to remember your “why.”

There needs to be something bigger than yourself to push you to break the cycle. Think about who you are showing up for and why! Set that intention, and you will start to see results!

I’ve seen this a lot with my group coaching program. This program is done at home, three times a week. But I still have people tell me that they are afraid to work out at home in front of their kids or husband or that they need to find someplace private to exercise.

In those moments, you need to remember that you are the leader of your household! Bring your loved ones along for the journey. Have them be part of your “why” and achieve your goals for them!

Think about who is watching you. There are people looking up to you as a mentor and leader, and if you don’t see yourself as one, you need to have a deep conversation with yourself.

Think about who needs you at 100% today. Many people hold themselves back from the life they truly desire. They don’t give that 100%, they feel stuck, and they let self-doubt prevent them from becoming their best selves.

3. Put Something on the Calendar

If it’s not on the calendar, it doesn’t happen!

Set an end date to reach your goal. For example, if you want to run your first 5k or half marathon, I have a 3-month group coaching program starting in July to help you create a dedicated running plan and prepare for a race on your calendar! This is a beginner-friendly program to help you step out of your comfort zone.

People want to wait until they think they are ready. But this is where that “stuck” feeling starts to creep in! If you are wondering how to get unstuck, you need to write it down, stop allowing yourself to procrastinate, and reach your goal!

Stop Staying Stuck!

When you start showing up for yourself and see the results, you’ll begin to wonder what else you can accomplish. So stop staying stuck! Rip off the bandaid, find a support group, and remember that it’s okay to do things messy. If you don’t show up for yourself and the people who need you, you are robbing them!

If you want to build accountability and get rid of that “stuck” feeling, I have so many ways for you to join my community! I have a Group Fitness Program full of people who want to cheer you on and help you reach your fitness goals.
